Job Description
We are working with a Federal Government client seeking a
Senior Project Manager to join their team on an on-site 1-year contract (Potential for extension by up to 4 additional years)
Roles and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Determine and provide recommendations on the handling of interdependencies between projects
- Maintain a database of interdependencies and departmental decisions on their handling;
- Contribute to the drafting of strategic documents, reports, and briefings;
- Give briefings on progress and concerns of projects;
- Coordinate and prepare documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns and observations to update management on project progress;
Qualifications and Skills:
- Security: Secret
- English
- Undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized Canadian university, college, or the equivalent as established by a recognized Canadian academic credentials assessment service
- Minimum of 60 months combined experience at a supervisory level working in a project environment related to concept development, equipment requirements, organizational structure and design.
- Has co-authored a minimum of 1 statement of requirement (SOR) within the last 120 months addressing 1 of the following:
- concept development,
- equipment requirements,
- organizational structure and design
