Job Description
Our Transportation client within the GTA, is seeking a dedicated Recruitment Director to join their growing team. This individual will lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team. The Recruitment Director will also be responsible for providing leadership on employment branding and developing supporting materials in order to communicate value proposition through the businesss employment advertisements, career sites, job descriptions, and other employment materials.
This is a hybrid position (3-days on site) based in the GTA, and offers a competitive rate and opportunities for development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate and contribute to the day to day recruiting of drivers and owner
operators.
- Develop a recruitment and retention strategic plan to advance organizational objectives and goals.
- Manage recruiting programs.
- Ensure hiring quality and productivity goals are met.
- Continuously research and present new recruiting methods, best practices, and trends.
- Oversee the management of the recruiting staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in a similar position. 3-5+ years of proven Leadership/Management experience.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
