Job Description

Our client in the non-profit industry is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in Toronto. This is a full-time permanent role that is in office twice a month. We are seeking someone specialized in Compensation and Benefits, as well as experience with payroll support.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and administer compensation programs, including salary structures, bonuses, incentives, and other forms of compensation
  • Conduct compensation reviews and regular analyses of compensation trends 
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other fringe benefits
  • Act as the main point of contact for questions regarding compensation and benefits
  • Work closely with the payroll department and contribute to the payroll process
  • Utilize HRIS and other systems to maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
  • Other duties as required 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 4+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Must have experience with compensation & benefits programs
  • Must have experience supporting payroll
  • Must have strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations
  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive decision-making
  • Experience with ADP Workforce and Dayforce considered an asset 
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
  • Experience in nonprofit an asset
