Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of prior Deskside experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both verbal and written.
Required Skills:
- Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology or equivalent.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, time management, and mathematical skills.
- Dependable and reliable with meticulous attention to detail and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile phones, and related peripherals.
- Clean criminal record and driving abstract.
Description of Duties:
- As a Deskside Support Technician, you will:
- Provide desktop hardware and software support to users.
- Administer and support computer end-user devices, including PCs, Macs, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and manage file and print services.
- Communicate effectively and professionally, producing concise and grammatically correct technical material.
- Manage, support, and troubleshoot end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
- Provide Tier 2 support, including dedicated walk-up support.
- Image, deploy, and configure new computers/laptops and install software applications.
- Record all inventory, incidents, and service requests in our incident management system.
- Support Meeting Rooms.
