Technical Advisor (1-Year Contract)

We are looking for a Technical Advisor to join our Information Systems team for a 1-year contract with 3 optional periods. This role will be based onsite.

Background: Join us at the forefront of technology as we seek a Technical Advisor to provide specialized expertise and guidance within our Information Systems team.

Tasks:

• Analyze technical challenges and propose solutions
• Provide guidance on solution implementations and upgrades
• Design technical solutions and assist in creating Detailed Architecture Design Documents
• Plan and structure technical solutions
• Assist in software and hardware selection
• Lead project execution and conduct code reviews
• Lead resolution of technical issues and guide software development teams
• Translate complex requirements into functional architecture
• Ensure implementation of agreed-upon architecture and infrastructure
• Lead development of work effort estimates and plans
• Identify technical risks and contribute to risk response strategy
• Review vendor engagements (SOW for technical aspects)
• Stay updated with technology trends
• Conduct transition to operations with operational teams
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• University Degree or equivalent College diploma with combined work experience
• Previous experience as a technical architect
• Familiarity with coding languages and various operating systems
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies
• Strong leadership, decision making, and conflict management skills
• Ability to coach, motivate, build trust, negotiate, and communicate
