Job Description
One of our clients is looking to hire Senior Director, Finance Portfolio Product Services who will be reporting to the VP, Global Technology Product Services and assume a pivotal role in spearheading transformative financial initiatives within our technology division. We seek a seasoned finance professional with extensive expertise in financial planning, analysis, and strategic business partnership, complemented by a deep understanding of technology operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

Finance Transformation: Lead the conceptualization and execution of finance transformation endeavors within the technology sector, encompassing process optimization, system enhancements, and operational streamlining.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with C-suite executives and technology leadership to devise and implement finance technology strategies aligned with industry best practices and corporate objectives.

Financial Analysis: Offer valuable insights into key performance metrics and drivers of financial performance, facilitating informed decision-making across the organization.

Portfolio Management: Oversee the finance technology portfolio, managing project budgets, resource allocations, and cost-effectiveness. Evaluate and monitor return on investment for finance transformation initiatives.

Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to technology leaders, providing financial guidance and fostering cross-functional collaboration with departments such as commercial, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities within the technology portfolio, devising and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements.

Performance Reporting: Deliver regular reports to finance leadership, highlighting market trends and areas for improvement.

Talent Development: Cultivate a high-performing finance team through mentorship, coaching, and professional development initiatives.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Track utilization of products and create heat map of functions used.
- Ensure business cases are developed and stakeholders are accountable for value realization.
- Coordinate with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure design compatibility across functions.
- Participate in change impact assessment / identification of value realization opportunities.
- Engage with Vendors to assess and select new products and services, along with detailed reviews of SOWs and license agreements.
- Drive detailed design and solution development using core systems and bolt-on tools.
- Manage completion of key test preparation and execution activities.
- Manage the team and provide leadership in:
- Engage with business users to plan for User Acceptance Testing
- Support end user training using TTT (Train the Trainer Approach)
- Lead sub-process teams for respective process area.
- Monitor quality of deliverables / key project risks for the assigned process area
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within technology-focused organizations.
- Strong understanding of technology operations, including software development lifecycle, cloud services, and IT infrastructure
- Proven track record of driving finance transformations and implementing best practices in finance operations.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and formulate actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project and change management capability to handle multiple projects (small and large) with conflicting priorities and deliver projects on time with excellence.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and driving business results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA or SAP ECC, as well as other finance and FP&A solutions such as SAP Analytics Cloud and OneStream.
Must-Haves:

SAP S4 HANA Full Implementation: You must have hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA implementation.

Presentation Skills: Ability to confidently present to C-level executives and stakeholders.

Finance Background: Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.

Global Experience: Demonstrated experience working with global teams/implementations with companies that have a global presence or are internationally recognized.

Consulting Background: Prior experience in a consulting role, particularly in finance or technology consulting, would be highly advantageous.

Food and Beverage Experience: Familiarity with the food and beverage industry.
- While not mandatory, possessing a CPA designation is considered an asset.
