Job Description

Our Crown Corporation (Financial Services) client is seeking a Senior Privacy Advisor in an exciting full-time, contract opportunity that is fully remote, ending August 2024.

The Senior Privacy Advisor is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager in ensuring the organization's programs comply with privacy rules and regulations. As part of this role, you will provide privacy advisory services, support privacy operations, assist in developing and implementing the privacy program and support the Senior Manager as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments on systems, programs, and complex initiatives on a monthly basis.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing advice into the design and development of new and revised privacy policies and procedures, and privacy best practices.
  • Review and contribute to program and/or project related documents
  • Keep abreast of current and new privacy legislative and regulatory requirements through a variety of knowledge and information seeking strategies.
  • Ensure alignment between the organization’s information practices and the organization’s privacy legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of privacy.
  • Conduct research and provide analysis on privacy-related issues, as required.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including conducting PIAs.
