Job Description

Our client in construction manufacturing industry is seeking a Operations Support & Systems Manager to join their team. 

The Operations Support & Systems Manager will play a pivotal role in organizing and leading the implementation of operational processes and key performance indicators. Your responsibilities will include managing various digital systems and platforms utilized within the company, supporting Production & Manufacturing Operations Managers, and supervising activities of workers engaged in all phases of plant operations. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in implementing and ensuring compliance with the Safety Program.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review key performance indicators (KPIs) with the Production Manager and employees.
  • Coach and develop Production teams to enhance plant knowledge and safety engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and best practices, including guidelines for plant image.
  • Lead projects to maintain plant aesthetics and community relations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of annual financial budgets and capital expenditures relevant to plant systems and operations.
  • Forecast production-related costs as required.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment maintenance and inspection.
  • Drive plant production performance and minimize downtime while maintaining quality.
  • Assist in processing, storage, and shipping of concrete as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Production & Manufacturing Operations Manager to identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster effective employee relations and promote a culture of performance.
  • Implement action plans for continuous improvement in Production Operations.
  • Interact with customers to strengthen business relationships and ensure quality and quantity expectations are met.
  • Leadership in plant performance metrics and digital platforms.
  • Involvement in corrective actions related to quality and production incidents.

Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of progressive related experience with 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivation and feedback.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft/Google applications and back-end support for batch systems.
  • G License, Ability to visit various sites
