Job Description

 

We are working with a Federal Government client seeking a Project Executive to join their team on a remote, 3-year contract.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide objective and independent advice to project directors and other senior management representatives.
  • Contribute to improvement of business processes, information flows, reporting mechanisms and procedures to support projects across multiple multidisciplinary groups.
  • Provide an action plan to improve the organization’s project performance compliance.
  • Assist in development and implementation of project management policies, processes and procedures.
  • Provide strategic assistance to support of project delivery.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project management support tools.
  • Help optimize the use of resources across projects and reduce constraints to improve the organization’s project performance.
  • Provide centralized guidance to projects and programs in support of the organization's strategic business objectives.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 10 years experience as a Project Manager
  • Must hold a Graduate Degree
  • Must have a PMP or Prince2 Certificate 
  • Bilingual in both English and French
  • Must have experience with the Federal Government 
  • Experience Mentoring, Coaching or Training Project Managers
  • Experience Developing Project Risk Management Plans
  • Experience working on projects using an Agile development approach

 

Education

  • Must hold a Graduate Degree

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with PowerBI
