We are working with a Federal Government client seeking a Project Executive to join their team on a remote, 3-year contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide objective and independent advice to project directors and other senior management representatives.
- Contribute to improvement of business processes, information flows, reporting mechanisms and procedures to support projects across multiple multidisciplinary groups.
- Provide an action plan to improve the organizations project performance compliance.
- Assist in development and implementation of project management policies, processes and procedures.
- Provide strategic assistance to support of project delivery.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project management support tools.
- Help optimize the use of resources across projects and reduce constraints to improve the organizations project performance.
- Provide centralized guidance to projects and programs in support of the organization's strategic business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
- 10 years experience as a Project Manager
- Must hold a Graduate Degree
- Must have a PMP or Prince2 Certificate
- Bilingual in both English and French
- Must have experience with the Federal Government
- Experience Mentoring, Coaching or Training Project Managers
- Experience Developing Project Risk Management Plans
- Experience working on projects using an Agile development approach
Education
- Must hold a Graduate Degree
