Our valued Federal Government client is seeking a UX Web Designer for a remote contract o implement enhancements and betterments within the existing grants management systems. As a Web Designer/User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our grants management system. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your design expertise and user experience insights to ensure the system meets the needs of our federal government client while adhering to accessibility standards and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define architecture to be used in the web-based projects
• Create and apply designs that maximize usability of existing objects
• Collaborate and conduct usability workshops
• Develop interactive prototypes showing basic form and functionality used for both usability testing and presentations
• Design high-usability web pages to meet the business requirements, including adhering to official languages and accessibility standards
• Analyze user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience

Qualifications and Skills

1. 10 years of experience in Web Design 
2.  Strong experience with WCAG and WET standards
3. Experience with the following technologies:

• JQuery
• JavaScript
• Angular
• SQL
• Git / GitHub
