Our client within the Manufacturing industry is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team.
In this role, you responsibilities will encompass a range of HR areas, including employee relations, talent management, policy interpretation, and organizational design.

Roles and Responsibilities
Contribute to company performance by providing strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies aligned with business objectives.
Support multiple functional groups as the key HR point of contact, serving as an internal subject matter expert on employee and labor relations.
Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and maintain the HR roadmap, setting priorities and goals for the department
Build trusted relationships with leaders and employees within assigned client groups, establishing credibility and providing excellent customer service
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the highest level of service to employees
Provide day-to-day coaching and consultation to leadership at all levels on various HR matters including employee relations, labor relations, talent management, and organizational design
Lead collective bargaining efforts with support from external counsel for supported business units
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, connecting them with appropriate internal resources and providing input to HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) on behalf of the business
Act as a liaison between client groups and internal HR functional groups to ensure seamless support and alignment.
Collaborate with clients to develop People Plans and provide ongoing leadership to drive delivery of those plans
Support management in client groups with organizational structure and design decisions, ensuring proper communication and documentation of changes.
Qualifications and Skills
A Diploma in a related field from a recognized institution.
CHRL designation or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 7-10 years of Human Resources experience
Profound understanding of collective agreements and relevant HR legislation, such as ESA, OHSA, OHRC, and OLRA.
Strong team player with exceptional leadership skills, negotiation abilities, and the capacity to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, showcasing attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Proven competence across various HR domains, including succession planning, performance management, labor relations, and coaching.
